Membership

Join us to access services designed with you and for you

Imagine having a supporter, friend, cheerleader, advisor, mentor, counsellor, network and a team of experts… all on your side and rooting for you

There are different types of membership:

Social Wellbeing Members - This allows you to access our social spaces so you can develop a network of friends and have a safe space to simply be ‘yourself’ - presenting however you want. We are currently running online and face-to-face meetings in Southampton.

Standard Member - This allows you to access the Social Wellbeing spaces as well as group support services.

Standard Plus Member - This allows you to access all of the above plus specialist counselling services and access to our caseworkers, who provide a range of practical services.

‘Friends’ can stay abreast of everything we do and be connected to our activities and opportunities.

We will help people who are unwaged, students or have payment challenges to have access to discounts – just talk to us.

Those people who would like to ‘pay forward’ or ‘support a member’ are welcome to do so – just contact us for more details.

Being a Member

Joining our membership allows to you access our services, become part of our community and access services and support for practical advice and guidance as well as mental health and wellbeing

Members can be trans people, people who are questioning, and friends, partners and allies who are involved and may be affected.

We only work with people who are aged 18+. If you are under that age, we can signpost you to other relevant service providers.

  • BR literally saved my life - without them I'd be lost

  • The counselling I received really helped me focus in on my key issues - thanks

  • Attending a group can be daunting, but there was a warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere

  • As a spouse, it was great to have other partners to talk to

  • Practical support and guidance always on tap - with 'real' peope and a culture of hope and happiness

  • Social Groups

A place for you to come and meet people - either online or in person (in selected locations). Great for combatting lonliness, meeting people, sharing resources and good conversation over a cuppa. Being with our ‘tribe’ is so important and can help with mental health and wellbeing as well as a springboard along your personal transition ‘journey’

  • Support Groups

A safe place either online or in specific locations to gain specific support relevant to you and your personalised transition ‘journey’. Groups may consist of mentors - trans people further along their own ‘journey’ who can provide re-assurance, tips and guidance, Cis-people who can give practical support around socialisation; coaches who can help friends and family.

  • Counselling

We operate two distinct modes of counselling - the first is ‘person centred’ where we stay with you and support you in your journey for as long as you need. It’s a safe place to explore your feelings, doubts, insecurities, hopes, issues and dreams…

The second is solution based - rather than a continuous process, this type of counselling focuses on a specific issue and helps you come to a more speedy resolution. Both are useful and we help you find which is best for you depending on who you are and the challenges you face.
