Our Mission
Beyond Reflections is a trans-led charity committed to providing a safe community for trans+ people and their allies in England and Wales. We provide practical, emotional and wellbeing support designed directly with the community, as well as create opportunities for trans+ people to engage with sports, arts, research, and more.
Our members are at the heart of all we do and every decision we make.
“Seeing I am not alone and being able to identify with others has helped me enormously in life”
“I can say without doubt that the charity is a massive life line for many of its members.”
What we do
We offer a wide range of services for trans+ adults, both online and in-person at accessible venues across Hampshire.
Social spaces and activities groups
Peer support groups
Counselling and one-to-one sessions
Practical transition advice and support
Hate crime reporting
We also provide support to allies, who would like someone to talk to about a loved one’s transition, and to organisations with training and pragmatic advice.
Upcoming Socials and Events
Open to BR members and non-members, trans+ adults (18+) only. Entry fees may apply for non-members, see specific events for details - become a member today to access all our services for free.
Volunteering
Our work would not be possible without our team of volunteers. They help us by doing a range of activities, including hosting groups, counselling, helping us run events, fundraising, and even behind the scenes in the office! Whatever your skills, we would love to hear from you.
Our volunteers are a wonderful mix of trans+ folx and allies who want to help make the world a better place. We provide a space for our volunteers to gain skills and experience, and meet brilliant like-minded people along the way.
