Thursday 10th December 7pm, Eastleigh
Most of the fantastic work in our community happens under the radar. People who don't ask for recognition, or make a fuss - they just do what needs to get done to continue to push for equity and inclusion for the trans+ community. People who inspire with their resilience and determination, but don't even know it. Those who platform trans+ voices, and those who speak out on behalf of their community in the everyday.
The Paul Draycott Awards exist to give recognition to those people and to come together in joy to celebrate their wonderful work.
Back for it’s third year, the Paul Draycott Awards celebrates the achievements of trans people and their allies in 2026
Who Was Paul?
Paul Draycott was Beyond Reflections’ Chair of Trustees. He was a senior director of Southampton’s NHS Trust, and a genuine ally to the trans people he spent his life helping.
We tragically lost Paul in 2024, and decided to host the first Paul Draycott awards in his honour; To celebrate people who dedicate themselves to making the world a better place for the trans community, like Paul did.
Now in it’s 3rd year, the Paul Draycott awards have become more than a simple awards ceremony. It is a fabulous evening celebrating trans life, joy, and achievement! Full of good cheer and bad dancing. Paul would have loved it.
Join Us for a Festive Evening Featuring; Great Music, Delicious Food, Good Company and Trans Joy!
Do you know someone who has done great work for the trans community this year?
Nominate them for an Award! We want to honour both trans people and their allies, so have two awards to give out:
The Paul Draycott Award, for a cis person or organisation who has gone above and beyond supporting trans people.
The Trans+ Award, for a Trans person or trans-lead organisation
Last Year’s Awards were incredible! and this year is looking to be even bigger and better
