Join us for an expressive evening of Trans Creation

Beyond Reflections & Transcribe invite you to a special event, celebrating new trans+ stories by trans+ writers, in partnership with Arts Council England, ArtfulScribe, John Hansard Gallery, QueerAF, Trans+ History Week and WeMakeSouthampton CIC.

Hosted by writer and performer Ri Baroche, you'll hear from 4x trans+ writers from the Hampshire region, who have been commissioned to create new pieces of creative work on the theme of trans+ experience. Each writer has been paired with an experienced trans+ writer, for editing and mentor support, and will be showcasing their new work. The compositions will also be available to buy in a limited run anthology available to purchase on the evening, with all proceeds going towards Beyond Reflection's work to support the trans+ communities in England & Wales.

The performances will be followed by a roundtable discussion of the writing shared, the themes discussed, and how we can learn from the experiences shared and encourage greater understanding and support of the trans+ community
