WORKPLACE TRAINING

Our workplace training courses help organisations foster a supportive and diverse culture to get the best out of their teams. Building a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected leads to higher employee morale and enhances productivity, creativity and innovation.

Our training is backed by years of experiential understanding of the trans+ community and is refreshed regularly to include the most up-to-date information.

Trans+ Awareness 101

  • This programme encapsulates and summarises many of the key issues around trans+ awareness and how to build awareness and acceptance.

  • A short presentation covering the fundamentals about trans+ people, including (for example):

    • Definitions of what being trans+ is all about

    • Pronouns and their use – and what to do if you ‘get it wrong’

    • How to be an effective ally

    • The differences between sex and gender

    • How identity (including gender identity) is part of real lives

Following this session, we turn to your questions. These can be generated from your organisation in advance of the session or be stimulated at the session as a result of the reaction to the presentation. It’s a chance to ask the questions you have always wanted to know in order to be able to support the community more effectively. We treat any question in the spirit of being relevant for development and are happy to work with people in that spirit.
